The central bank governor of Zimbabwe has announced that the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe will introduce, within the next two weeks, new notes and coins which can be used just like the bond coins and notes.
The introduction of new cash into the economy will help to curb high premiums on cash. The central bank plans to introduce $2 coins and $5 notes which will be used along with the bond notes and coins.
