Harmony in colors along with designs taken from cultural highlights, customs, traditions as well as endemic animals in Vanuatu are all included in this 2014 polymer banknote set.
On June 9, 2014, the Central Bank of Vanuatu introduced to the public a set of polymer banknotes printed with advanced high-tech anti-counterfeiting techniques. This set of banknotes printed removed the 100 Vatu denomination on the previous set of banknotes, leaving only 200, 500, 1000, 2000, 5000 and 10,000 vatu.
